Photo by myself, in midtown, around 6th Avenue and 40th Street.
There's something about horses that inspire a bit of fear.
I've been told by horse people that these animals doesn't really know how big they are, so despite their size, they can be easily spooked.

Nice photo. Horses are awfully nice animals. Much more pleasant to be around than most human beings. LOL
ReplyDeleteI like horses almost as much as I like dogs.
belle brochette de policiers. En plus ils sont sympathiques, ils se laissent prendre en photo par les touristes (bon j'avoue ne pas encore avoir oser demander avec Amedée ;o) )
ReplyDeletebeautiful skewer police. In addition they are sympathetic, they can be photo taken by tourists (well I admit have not yet dare ask Amedee o))
The horses must have the right temperament for police work. They're tested, some make the cut some don't.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is very handsome.
I knew exactly the same thing. They see us bigger!
ReplyDeleteI'm from the country and horse scare the living shit out of me. I fell off our horse when I was little and they've scared me ever since.

ReplyDeleteI've heard that too, that horses see us much larger than what we are. I wonder if that is true.
