The View atop the Whitestone Bridge

The Whitestone Bridge is a huge suspension bridge that crosses the East River, connecting Queens with the Bronx. Sounds complicated, but the bridge is basically located northeast of Manhattan.

The first tower on the left with the spire is the Empire State Building.

    Spectacular view. The skyline looks so unfamilar without the World Trade Center.

    great catch here. I love this view of Manhattan, one of my favorites, especially on a clear day.

    I agree with Fredrik - with out the WTC is still a gorgeous view but a little empty somehow...

    Yes, it's sad isn't it? Without the WTC the skyline is just another skyline. *Sigh*
