Photo by myself in Times Square, at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue.
So many colors and sights collide at this corner. 42nd Street is crowded with tourists and commuters alike. Port Authority lies a block away, for subway riders and those bound out of town by bus.
It's been a very long week and I don't have much to write tonight. I'm just happy it's Friday. I'm looking forward to a restful weekend, getting a bunch of things done.
Woohoo! TGIF everyone!

Hey, Kitty. Congrats on making it through your first week at the new job! Hope it made you glad you made the move and that you feel even more confident next week!
Rest up and enjoy the weekend.
Great B&W. I spent a lot of time there changing buses to Jersey.
Have a nice weekend! I'm dead tired too and next week hell freeze over, so I'm considering sleeping the entire Sunday.
Hi Spandrel
Thanks so much. People say it's so much adjustment when you change jobs and it's absolutely true. It takes a lot of energy!
Thank you Ming! Have a great weekend, too
Thanks Nikon! I don't envy you. Port Authority could stand a major makeover. But where to start?
Hi Fredrik
Have a great sleep, dear!
great composition here Kitty
Nice photo!
Have a good weekend!
Works well in black & white
I love black & white photos. I don't know what it is about them, but they always seem more interesting. have a great weekend! :o)
I thank you for your visit to my blog, I come to look at your blog because New York is a city that for a long time it fascinates me. I answer to your question, some photos of mine are in HDR but not everybody. The HDR but me I like I think whether to treat then all the photos becomes monotonous.
A regard from Italy.
Thanks, Michael and Sonia!
Gail's Man and Tammy, I agree. I love black and white, too. I find them easier to manage than color photos.
Hi Blue Road
Mark could tell your photos were HDR images. They're wonderful and unique.
I REALLY love this photo. I love black and white photos of the city and people. You've done a great job capturing the life in NYC.
I love the fact that you said, "So many colors and sights collide at this corner." and then you posted in black and white... how ironic!
a legend by itself...
