Photo by myself of the subway platform at Union Square.
I liked this photo for looking almost like a play. Any minute, and the leading actor would walk in from the wings.

haha yes you have such a keen eye for these things. You are quite right. Although I think the person who designed the set should remove that ruddy great pillar from the middle of the stage!
I was in London yesterday and it was so lovely to be able to People Watch without it seeming odd. Here I have to be a bit careful - sometimes people start talking to me!
so true, that is just what it is like! great shot.
Very cool photo! Love the dark and then the bright light.
This is one of my favorite views in New York. And you're right, it's almost like watching a play unfold.
Ah, I love the subway, and yes, you are right about the set for a play..although I thought that was the leading lady walking on there with her lilac jacket!

Great shot and wonderful interpretation!
I've really enjoyed this blog, amazing work! Thank you
Yes, that's so true! You are amazing...
Just curious if you used flash to capture this photo across the track.
I wanted to use flash to capture similar photo while I took the train. But I was so worried the passengers may be upset with me. So, I didn't use flash and my photo turned out lousy. You photo was great!
thanks everyone. Glad that the subway photos are appreciated
Hi JC
I didn't use a flash and never do. I don't like the color that a flash casts on the photo.
If you use a camera that has adjustable settings, that should help you in low light. Adjust the ISO setting to a higher number to make the camera more sensitive to the light that you have
terrific shot... It's like a scene illuminated...
