Photo by myself around 54th Street and Fifth Avenue, in Midtown.
Fifth Avenue can literally become a sea of people.
People stream down the sidewalk, while others cross the street from another direction. It is orchestrated mayhem.
For many of us, Monday after the holiday means back to the working routine.
Ah!!!!!!
Happy Monday, everyone!

Nice capture! I love crosswalks. I hold my camera out and take countless pictures while I walk across the street

«Louis» is surprised they aren't all carrying SPF 40 sunscreen given the news reports of you summer-like winter thus far...NOT!
Mondays... the sun makes it tolerable. Like Ken Mac, I like the girl looking back at ya. Nice shot - holding the camera up WAY HIGH? or are you just REALLY TALL?
Oh My God! And that is a normal day.....
Thanks Olivier!
Hi John
Aren't crosswalks fun? You see such an assortment of people all at once. Love it.
Susu, I feel the same way.
So glad to know there is a kindred spirit across the seas.
Hi Ken
Well, Banksy is a relatively recent phenom and not known to a ton of people. Glad you spotted his work!
Hi Louis
I know you don't believe in global warming. I think it suffers from an incorrect name. Should be called 'climate change' that refers less to 'warming' than changes to the ozone layer.
Hi Brenda!
I was actually standing on top of a low wall, so I had a higher vantage point. Great that you noticed that!
Ha, Joanne!
Yes, it's probably a bit more busy during holiday time but in general, this area is very crowded. Not for the faint of heart
That looks crazy busy...!
