A little girl rode piggyback in Midtown.
It's not easy for parents to get around the city with young children. When in a crowd, the best view is from higher up. There is also a lot of walking involved in the city.
Young children riding around in strollers can also be a tough situation. Parents have to cart the stroller up and down stairs to the subway. Typically there are no elevators, though New Yorkers will often lend a hand.

surtout que dans NYC on marche vraiment beaucoup, et les enfants fatiguent rapidement, alors apres c'est au tour des parents de servir de moyen de locomotion ;)
I always try to help if I see people with a buggy, it is not easy in most big cities with smaller children. Piggyback is great when they are small, but there will come a time...

They look exhausted, mother is also carrying a baby and the weather looks warm, poor children...
I can just feel the fatigue emanating off the young girl in this photo! Luckily the man carrying her looks very strong.
