Despite the chilly winds, it was all a-bustle on Mott Street, in Chinatown.
Stalls were up selling festive decorations for Chinese New Year. This year, the New Year falls on February 10th, next weekend.

The shop ceiling gives a wonderful decor around the picture. A bit like photographing a newsstand with al the papers and magazines around and the seller in the middle. Good shooting point.
Nice photo, I remember Mr Koch, he was very well known here too.
My acupuncturist is Chinese and we were just talking about the upcoming celebration. Apparently, 2013 is the Year of the Snake. Not sure what that means...
