The Morning Commute, on the B Train

Subway, nyc
Photo by myself on the B train, underground.

The commute on Tuesday morning was business as usual. We've been having chilly weather lately, so everyone is bundled up accordingly.

From this vantage point, it looks like we're a cheerless bunch. You would think that we eat gruel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Followed by the occasional gruel biscuit for dessert. Ha.

The couple on the far left seem to be husband and wife, (ie; she seems to be speaking to him, and he's not listening!). Many couples commute together, myself and Mark included.

ce qui est surprenant c'est ce cote calme des gens, je vois souvent pour aller a paris, les gens sont plus enerves

ha! I like this one and your commentary- it's funny how people have to act so restrained in public in the city so often even though down deep they are much more interesting than they would appear!

I think you look like a literate bunch. Newspapers and books in evidence. On my Chicago subway commute, most people are playing with cell phones.

Hi Kitty, just been catching up on all of your recent posts, and enjoyed as always - particularly the Veterans Day post.
Hope your eye is better.
