Photo by myself around Spring and Greene Streets, in Soho.
Open air stalls sell jewelry, hats, graphic tee shirts and everything else all year round, on an empty lot in Soho. Much of the goods are or look handmade. There are no packaged or brand name goods.
Metal pipes provide a structure to support lights, sheets and wire mesh. The result resembles a nomadic campground.

j'aime bien ce type de chapeaux de la premiere photo, mais malheureusement je n'ai pas une tete a chapeau
Hi Olivier
I don't look good in hats, either, lol.
Kitty, just wanted to say thank you for my "New York fix" every morning! It's fun that I can get a piece of Manhattan's scene with just a click along with my morning coffee!
My son loves to get t-shirts here!
I love shopping at the open air stalls like that...your photo reminds me that a few weeks back I stopped and looked at some artwork - a father was selling colored etchings of his daughter's - they were so charming, but i was out of cash! I wanted to go back and see if I could find him again...
Wonderful reminders of the amazing street life in NYC, Kitty! Wandering the streets of SoHo is so much fun. I love that tiny businesses like this can thrive around the city.
I love how you included the faded advert on the wall that says Bought Sold.. great image!
Lots of great photos here now .. I have enjoyed every single one of them .. :o)
Love the "nomade-look" on these pictures ..
Have a nice weekend - hugs!!
What are the 'tiles' in the top photo - at the top right? Are they tiles? Interesting lot, certainly!
Hey I want to give you $60 today for putting some links on your sidebar in an archive page. Very little effort, very small. Please let me know. Website is nyctourist.com
Thanks!
Marissa
This looks like a fun event.
