Downtown Girl, on Houston

Houston Street, NYC
Photo by myself at Bowery and Houston Street, on the Lower East Side.

Paste-ups, graffiti and fashion are commonplace in this edgy neighborhood.

The woman on the left looks like a model or plastic doll. Believe me, she was real.

That intersection does not look inviting!

I'd rather spend time with your 3 musicians and Macando's.

I miss a few days of your blog and I feel like I've missed everything!
Rupert has gotten so much older yet has managed to stay very cute.
& Japan, wow! that sounds fun. I heard they have similar weather to LI, I wonder if that is true? Will you go to the beach?
I can't wait to see your photos!

except for the cars, this could be a shot from the 1970s

I really like this shot. Houston street always makes me feel that there's not much going on around there, but then again, so much behind walls.

That lady looks like a serious dancer to me :D
