Photo by myself on 34th Street in Midtown.
The view down 34th Street includes the Empire State Building, looming above.
Macy's has been decorated with a huge Christmas tree on the canopy and a giant sign with 'Believe' in script.
It's oddly balmy outside though, with temperatures hovering around 60F, or 15 Celcius. People are walking about with their jackets flapping open.

A beautiful shot! 15 more sleeps until my visit. :-)
Oh how I love NYC during Christmas!
Excellent! Everytime the Christmas preparations begin, I can't help feeling that thrilling, it's amazing!

so pretty! & do you believe this weather?
Fabulous shot, Kitty!
Beautiful, Kitty! The tree and the Empire State Building complement each other so nicely. On my very first visit to New York, I already felt familiar with it because I had seen it in so many movies and on so many television shows. It seemed every time I turned a corner, I was running into a place I "knew."
It shows very good the atmosphere in your city on the moment.
Nice picture with two "towers".
