Holiday Greetings, from Times Square

Times Sq Christmas
Photo by myself in Times Square.

I braved Times Square the other night, where holiday images are dancing on the big screen. Standing at 42nd Street and Broadway, one is just bathed in light.

Mark and I are caring for our dog Rupert, Thursday night. He was left unattended for a moment and in that moment, he scarfed down a big bowl of cat food. He's been extra-gassy as a result.

In the meantime, it's time again for another Rupert video.

Mark has been making these videos in his spare time, mapping Rupert's journey through puppyhood. He's now almost 5 months old and apparently does a lot of sleeping. In this episode, our cat makes a cameo appearance.

Braving Times Square is exactly right. Rupert is cute. How's your cat taking to him--and to sharing the spotlight? They seem to be okay together in the video.

oh, such a little nappy love...no one sleeps as deeply as a tired-out puppy. love the videos, keep them coming :-)

Oh he is SO gorgeous. I love the way his eyes keep drifting open and his head keeps slumping in the sleepy ones. He's going to have so much fun at Christmas with all the scrunchy paper.

Good to see the cat too. They seem to be getting on really well - or tolerating each other at least.

Hi Terry
The cat and Rupert are okay together except when he decides to go nuts, haha. I hope someday they are buddies.

Thanks Bettye
I will let Mark know his videos are appreciated!

ha, yes, he is adorable. The poor cat gets lost in the mayhem all the time.

I love how Rupert stops playing for a moment mid play to stop & check out Mark.
That is cute how he sleeps with one ear up.

Hi, i'm jumping from RB's blog and i come upon your blog. I was recently in New York and caught the first snow of the season while walking in Times Square, a magical time indeed.
