Cat on a Leash, in Midtown

Cat on a Leash, Midtown
Photo by myself, somewhere in Midtown.

Often you will see cats that live or 'work' in delis walking around on the sidewalk, getting some air. Less common are New Yorkers who take their cats for walks. I think the owners want their cats to get some exercise, since there are not a lot of yards for cats to roam around.

Unfortunately, the cat above was not enjoying himself. He looked like he just wanted to run off and be with his cat buddies, poor thing.

Hi Kitty! Thanks for stopping by. I'm the worst CDP member at the moment. Too much things going on. We're moving to à house outside the town and putting our apartement and allotment out on the market at the same time. It's really exciting but also demanding. Luckily I'm on vacation :S
Funny pic! Walking one cat is ok. But two is almost impossible.
Take care!

Well I think he is not comfortable. A cat does not like to be on a rope. He is different, not a dog who listens to his boss.

And how about the expression on the woman walking toward us. Not a happy face! Maybe she knows what the cat knows?

I've seen this a lot in Manhattan, and I think it's not nice for the cat.

Those two people are looking like "What on Earth?"
