Posing with the Statue of Liberty, in Midtown

Statue of Liberty, nyc
Photo by myself, somewhere in Midtown.

There are mini Statue of Liberties sprinkled throughout the city, for the occasional photo-op. This one stood outside a souvenir store in Midtown.

Hi Kitty,

While I love the Statue of Liberty statues through out the city, the one I found in Battery Park was possibly the most bizarre, it was some guy dressed as Lady Liberty including the green facial make up and torch. People were posing with him for pictures. The earth cam app for Android allows or they use to allow you to see Lady Liberty 24/7 and it is something I enjoyed doing.

Hi Nori!
Actually this photo is from the stash. But yes...the weather has been on and off here. Very moody.

Thanks Bieb!

Thanks Andy! I was a lucky lurker. :-)

Hi Dragos
Glad your time here was a good one! This area is filled with souvenir stores for those visiting the Empire State Building, I think. You can get all the I *heart* NY mugs you like!

Mine too, Lily!

Hi Ice Queen
There are a few of those people, as well as those dressed head to toe in gold or silver, carrying random gold or silver objects.
