What? Is this the campaign headquarters of a new candidate?
Actually, no. It's the TV set of the CBS show The Good Wife. A production assistant stood guard as crowds of people walked by at this busy Midtown block.
Chris Noth, star of Sex and the City and Law and Order, plays Peter Florrick on the show. Florrick is a politician who was caught having highly publicized affairs. Peter's 'good wife', stays with him despite the media hooplah and is played by Julianna Margulies, of ER fame.
'The Good Wife' is a television drama about politicking, lawyering and fidelity. It's a good show. I watch it, but Mark has no patience for such serious drama.
TV productions are not exactly routine in the middle of the city, but they are not rare. Usually filming takes place in less crowded areas, often on side streets.
Fake posters decorated this vacant Midtown bank, as the crowd shuffled by.
